A thank you carried in the heart - quietly held until the right moment comes along.
Each Acknowledgement Tribute™ holds a handwritten letter, a meaningful photograph, and a small collection of carefully chosen items - presented with care, and given with meaning.
It’s not a gift. It's a tribute - a quiet thank you that stays forever.
THE QUIET STORY BEHIND IT ALL
It began when I couldn’t speak - and someone stayed. And if it speaks for you too, that’s enough.
When life stopped
It started with a stroke.
In 2022, our founder had an ischemic stroke. It stopped a business. Changed a life.
But somewhere in the stillness that followed, something new took root - a quiet need to say thank-you, properly.
Not with flowers. Not with vouchers. But with something lasting. Something that would let a nurse, a carer, a therapist - feel seen. Not rewarded. Not embarrassed. Just seen.
That single need - to acknowledge, gently and meaningfully - became the starting point for everything that followed. And still guides us today.
Shaped by care
Built slowly. Made with meaning.
We didn’t rush this. Quiet Thanks™ has been shaped gently over three years - from the first idea, to the very last ribbon.
Each Acknowledgement Tribute™
includes space for a letter in your own hand, written on the paper we’ve carefully prepared. Alongside it, a photo you choose and meaningful elements that speak without needing to shout.
Everything is considered. Every material. Every detail. Because when someone stands by you, the way you thank them should feel just as steady.
Just as human. Just as lasting.
What We Stand For
And we’ll never forget why.
Quiet Thanks™ exists for one reason:
To honour the ones who stayed. And that won’t change.
Every product we ever release - every tribute, every letter, every detail - will carry the same weight of care.
No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just integrity. Every time. Whether it’s a fob watch or a handwritten note, we’ll ask the same thing: does this feel true? Does it honour what was given?
That’s our test. And if it doesn’t pass, we don’t make it. It’s as simple - and as serious - as that.

OUR JOURNEY
A THANK-YOU THAT NOTICED. NOT JUST A STORE.
Some people stand beside us - quietly, without asking. We create ways to thank them. Not with noise. But with something that stays.

Frequently Asked Questions
Order
Yes - and not just because we have to.
We’re registered with the ICO and follow UK data laws carefully. But more than that, we understand what you’re handing over.
We don’t share it. We don’t sell it. We protect it - like it was our own.
We send all orders once a week, every Tuesday.
It helps us focus on preparing each tribute with the time and care it deserves. If your order is placed after 12pm on Monday, it will roll over to the following Tuesday’s dispatch.
You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s on its way.
No - and it never will be. Every tribute is sent to you - because this was never just about what’s inside the box.
It’s about the letter you write. The meaningful photo you enclose.
And the quiet moment you choose to give it - because only you can say what they meant.
The letter is yours - but how you create it is up to you.
We include two sheets of specially selected writing paper and a quiet guide card to help you find the words. On the back, there’s a lined template to help you write straight if you need it — nothing more.
And if it’s easier to say the words out loud while someone else writes them down for you, that’s just as true.
What matters is that it comes from you.
There’s no pressure - not every thank-you finds its moment straight away.
Some people keep their tribute until it feels right. Others quietly pass it on to someone else who needs to feel seen or gift it to a charity auction for a cause that means something to them.
Whatever you choose, it was made with care - and it will wait.
We’ve done everything we can to make them so but we always recommend checking with the Trust or department first, especially if you’re unsure.
Quiet Thanks™ tributes are designed with care, shaped around the “NHS England: Gifts and Hospitality Policy 2023”, and guided by professional nursing codes. These suggest that large or frequent gifts should be declined - but small, personal gestures of thanks, given after care and without expectation, are usually appropriate.
That’s what these are.
They’re personal. One-off. Non-promotional. No advertising, no perks - just a quiet thank-you that stays.
– You Were There™ remains under the £50 threshold followed by many NHS Trusts
– Angels in Uniform™ is higher in value, but not extravagant or luxury-branded - simply a meaningful tribute, created with thought
Because guidance varies by role and Trust, we gently encourage you to check with a department lead or foundation team before purchase if you have any concerns.
Because each tribute is personal and made to order, we’re unable to accept returns unless an item arrives damaged or something is genuinely faulty.
Every Quiet Thanks Tribute™ is packed with care, the same care as the thought that’s gone into it. Before it leaves us, it’s rechecked again to make sure everything is complete, presentable, and just as it should be.
But if something still arrives damaged, we’ll always try to make it right - fairly and respectfully.
To help us do that - and to meet courier claim requirements - we kindly ask that you:
– Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
– Email info@quietthanks.co.uk with the subject line “Quality Control”
– Include a clear photographs of the item and outer packaging
– Hold onto all packaging materials until we’ve resolved the issue
We may ask you to return the damaged item so we can send a replacement.
Refunds or store credit aren’t normally offered unless a suitable replacement isn’t available.
Please note: If we believe the item was damaged after delivery, we may not be able to replace it - but we’ll always respond with care.
