Our Story

When life stopped

It started with a stroke.

In 2022, our founder suffered an ischaemic stroke. It stopped a business and changed a life. In the stillness that followed, something unexpected began to take shape. It was not the start of a company or a plan for a product. It was a quiet need to say thank you properly.

Not with flowers or vouchers, but with something that would last. Something that would allow a nurse, a carer, or a therapist to feel seen. Not rewarded. Not embarrassed. Just seen.

That single need to acknowledge someone, gently and meaningfully, became the starting point for everything that followed. It is also the idea that still guides Quiet Thanks™ today.

Shaped by care

Quiet Thanks™ was not rushed. The idea was shaped slowly over three years, from the first thought through to the smallest details. Each decision was made with care, because what we were creating needed to feel as thoughtful as the moment it was meant to honour.

At the centre of every Acknowledgement Tribute™ is a handwritten letter. Your own words, written by hand, on paper we have carefully prepared. Alongside it sits a photograph you choose and a small collection of meaningful elements that are there to support the moment rather than overshadow it.

Everything is considered. Every material. Every detail. Because when someone stands beside you in a difficult moment, the way you thank them should feel just as steady, just as human, and just as lasting.

What we stand for

Quiet Thanks™ exists for one simple reason: to honour the ones who stayed. That purpose shapes every decision we make.

Every tribute, every letter, and every detail must carry the same weight of care. We ask ourselves the same question each time we create something new: does this feel true, and does it honour what was given? If the answer is no, we do not make it.

There are no gimmicks and no shortcuts. Only the belief that when gratitude matters, it deserves to be expressed properly.

Tributes with purpose

Quiet Thanks™ was born from a single need to say thank you in a way that lasts. Not through praise alone, but through something that can be held, kept, and returned to. A handwritten letter. A chosen photograph. A tribute that stays.

Each Acknowledgement Tribute™ is also connected to causes that matter deeply to us, from memory loss and stroke recovery to military service and cancer care. Instead of donating to large organisations, Quiet Thanks™ quietly sponsors two individuals each month who are raising funds for causes close to their hearts, often for very personal reasons.

We are not yet in profit, but the giving has already begun. Even before the first tribute has left the building. Because this is not simply a business idea. It is what we believe is the right thing to do.

A quiet thank-you, offered properly.
